CEREC (an acronym that stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics.)

CEREC is a dental restoration made like Crowns, inlays or Onlays. With CEREC the Dentist has the ability produce a ceramic dental restoration In a single visit.

Dr. Draper would take a CAD/CAM to take a 3D image of your tooth (or teeth).  With that image, the doctor has a virtual impression where he, or a trained professional assistant would design your tooth's restoration with the CEREC computer program.  Once fully designed the CEREC milling machine will than start working to sculpt your ceramic restoration from a porcelain block. In less than 15 minutes.  After the milling machine is done your restoration will be directly bonded to your tooth permanently, in only one office visit.
